Gretchen ONeal:

Hi, everyone, welcome back to A Course in Miracles. Today we start a 10 day review of the last 20 lessons, you will see that we do this quite often in this course, this is not only just to review and refresh the concepts, but to use this review period to teach you how to apply them. So, like in school, we would call this period the practical application period. Whereas the other lessons, we're just learning the theory. So during the review of part three, we're going to spend two extended sessions each day, you can do one in the morning and one in the evening. And in the sessions, you're going to review the first of the two concepts in the morning. And the second of the two concepts in the evening, you're gonna review this in the typical format that we use of a mindful meditation, you can either choose to repeat the concept to yourself, and just let your mind go and see what messages you receive. Or you can use the pre recorded podcasts which I will put at the end of each review lesson for the day, so that you don't have to go back and download them or find them, they will be part of this podcast. And you can use that as your morning in your evening review. Throughout the day, however, I would like you to take the two concepts that are being reviewed for the day. And if you need to write them down quickly, so that you have them at the ready throughout the day, I highly recommend doing that. But during the day, back to our every hour on the hour, I want you to look at the two concepts I want you to say them to yourself. That's all that's required. This isn't about doing an individual meditation each hour, I just want you to repeat the concept. Reason being, we are trying to train the mind to operate from soul. And from spirit versus from the self. Your conscious waking mind has spent all of your life focused on operating from the self from those false perceptions from living in that untrue reality. We now want to train the conscious mind your waking mind, to operate from soul to get its cues from love and from spirit. And one of the easiest ways to do that is to remind yourself every hour of these concepts that puts them in the forefront of your mind. That makes them a focal point of your waking consciousness all throughout the day. So this is also a training ground here. So please don't ignore this part of the review. Please take the time each day. To do this repetition every hour. The easiest way to do it is to write the two concepts down, put them on your phone, you can set an alarm on your phone every hour to look at that note, or you can remind yourself to look at it you can post it on your computer screen where you're going to see it all day. I just want you to make an active effort to put this in your waking mind for the rest of the review period. So for the next 10 days, this is the goal. A morning meditation and an evening meditation focused on one of the concepts that you were viewing for the day. And then during the middle of your day, every hour, I want you to simply repeat the concepts, put them in the forefront of your consciousness, and let them live there for the remainder of your day to day. Enjoy this review period, really work on actively living from your soul for the next 10 days. Take note of the changes that you experience. And definitely take note of your overall mental state. Are you happier? Are you more at peace? Are you calmer? Be mindful of those changes as well. Have a wonderful review period. And again, the podcasts for today's to review lessons will follow. Have a great day. Hi, it's Gretchen and welcome to lesson 93 in A Course in Miracles. Today's concept is light in joy and peace Abidan me light and joy and peace Abidan me. Today's lesson is going to focus on the difference between living from the self, and living from the soul. And how we look at ourselves. A lot of us hold a lot of guilt and shame. From what we view as mistakes we've made in our life, wrong actions, bad behavior, selfishness, things that we did, based on some feeling of fear, or attack, or lack and scarcity, or vindictiveness, or vengefulness, things that basically came from an attack thought that was based in our ego. I, as we've discussed before, we know that all of that is meaningless. None of that is true. None of those attacks exist in the true reality, as guaranteed by spirit. All of those feelings are of our own making through a public persona. They are based in the self, they are not based from the soul. So when we say that light and joy and peace abide in Me, we are saying, If we live from the soul level, if we disregard that public persona, and live truly from spirit, none of those things matter. There are no mistakes that we need to feel guilty about. There is no shame that we need to carry. There's nothing that we need to be absolved from or forgiven for in that regard. All of that comes from within. If we recognize that we come from love, and we live from love, then the first thing we do is forgive ourselves. We extend that unconditional love to ourselves. There is no reason to feel shame. There's no reason to feel guilt. There's no reason to believe that somehow we are tarnished, or tainted, or there are things that we have to make up for in this life. We're not a branded soul. We are perfection, we are invulnerable, we are unique, and we are the light, and the manifestation of spirit. And when we live from that place, then we have truly forgiven ourselves, our light becomes their example in their guide. So today, I really want you to spend two to three meditation sessions, where you just resonate in that concept. We're not doing any deep work, where we're looking into our past, and I don't care about that today. All we're going to do today is just adopt and accept this truth. That light and joy and peace abide in me. So a great mantra that you can tell yourself during your meditation session is light in joy, and peace, Abide in me. The truth about me, is unchanged, as it is guaranteed by spirit. The truth about me is unchanged, as it is guaranteed by spirit, whatever mistakes that we've made, whatever actions and reactions that have occurred, based on fear and anxiety from attack thoughts, that are again rooted in the self in the ego. It doesn't matter because our souls are unchanged. It doesn't change the truth of who we are. It can't alter that. That comes from spirit that is perfect in unique and perpetual and invulnerable. So the truth of who we are, is unchanged because it's guaranteed by spirit spirit created us spirit is a part of us. Spirit doesn't make mistakes. Spirit created a perfect manifestation of itself. The soul is the manifestation of spirit, it cannot be tarnished. It can not be damaged, and therefore feelings of guilt and shame and regret, they have no place they have no meaning in our existence, if we are operating from the soul level, if we are operating from love. That is what we mean by the truth of us is unchanged when we operate and connect with spirit, light, and peace, and joy Abidan that's all there is, because that's all spirit is. So I want you to work on that several times today, the meditation sessions don't need to be long. It's just I want the thought to resonate with you, I want you to start to believe this. And the best way to believe it is just to feel it as often as possible today, but at a minimum, try for two or three, five minutes sessions. This is the beginning of finding that piece. This is the beginning of understanding that it's always been within you. So when you work on these sessions today, you should feel lighter. You should feel more at peace. You should feel happier. Because everything that's weighing you down, you're starting to release. Really enjoy the practice sessions today and really live in this moment today. Hello, everyone. Welcome back. We're with lesson 94 in A Course in Miracles. Today's lesson is, I am a spirit created me. I am as spirit created me. Today's lesson is very basic. We are just acknowledging what we are. We are the pure manifestation of spirit. Period. We are not our public persona. We are not the self. We are not this image that we have created and cultivated over the years of our life. Who we are what we are is a manifestation of spirit. It is our soul. That is who we are. That is what we are. It is limitless, it is perpetual. It is invulnerable. And it's the light. And it manifests itself and is the light for everyone else because we spread love. We live in love. We provide love, we receive love. We if we're truly connected to spirit. That is what we are. I am a spirit created me, nothing else matters. Everything else falls away. You need to see yourself as that limitless being. This is what we discussed in the prior lesson. It's important not to view yourself as your Corporal body in your meditations. Instead, you need to take on a new image. It's the image that you ask spirit to provide for you. This image is also going to start coming to you and dreams. And in your visions, this is how you are meant to view yourself. And it should have nothing to do with your current physical body. I am a spirit created me everything that that bodies, all the power, all of the joy, all of the peace, all of the love all of the light. I am all of those things. That is how I see myself. That is what I'm putting out into the world when I say that to myself. And that's what we're doing today. The exercise for today is to be mindful and try to do this every hour on the hour as best you can. Where you take a moment and you simply say to yourself, I am a spirit created me and just live that. That's it. I want you to walk around your day I want you to interact with others. I want you to practice being the light so try to do it every hour. You may not need it every hour. You could start it this morning and you could hold on to it throughout your day. Repeat it however often you need to, in order to stay constant in this vision for yourself today. I am a spirit created me. Have a wonderful day to day. Join us for the sessions tomorrow.
