Speaker 1:

Hi, this is Gretchen from come to yourself.com with our series facts, not fiction, featuring a discussion about Paris psychology with Lloyd our back enjoy.

Speaker 2:

There's also an impact on people having experiences where now if they watch those shows and they have anything that appears or seems negative, they're immediately going to go to demon. Horrible. When in fact there could be a normal explanation for what happened, uh, that has nothing to do with the paranormal at all. And that's rarely ever talked about on these shows either

Speaker 1:

That that is actually an interesting topic. Um, in your experiences, would you say that there is a positive or a negative demonic, you know, classification for anything that you've felt a presence of or seen a presence ever had evidence of a presence of,

Speaker 2:

Uh, negative? Yes. In the sense that, um, since one category of the phenomenon we investigate is, uh, what we call a haunting or were they MTV called residual haunting? So if something awful happened in a place, it'll feel, uh, it might feel awful. So that's negative, there's negative emotion. That's not intelligent that it's not conscious,

Speaker 1:

That's leftover energy or something.

Speaker 2:

It's a recording. You know, you're really watching a movie or experiencing something like that. And it's a form of virtual reality in some respects. Um, but as far as negative spirits or anything like that, other than, you know, there goes are people too. So there are, um, first of all, there's honestly, there's very few evil people in the world. So there are people who do evil things. What's interesting is we don't typically find the people who do like murderers and people like that. Seemingly don't stick around for whatever reason. And we have a lot of speculation about that. None of which is religious, but you know, you never know what spiritual stuff is going on there. Um, there were bullies people who were bullying people or at big personalities or push people around those kinds of people do stick around. Um, I had a peeping Tom ghost. Um, I don't know if he eating Tom when he was alive, but you know, there's those, um, occasional TV shows where a teenager turns invisible a teenage boy. And the first thing he wants to do is pop in the girl's locker room. So that's pretty human. It's bad, but it's human. It's human. It's not, I mean, I honestly, I've seen more demonic behavior from ghost hunters who go into a place and start yelling and screaming to make the ghost dance or do something and then are surprised when they get an EVP, some voice phenomenon that says get out. Like, I actually talked to somebody because I was talking about this and I, and I said, you rarely, you know, if it was a New York ghost, you'd probably get a little F-bomb here and there. And when somebody piped up and said they did, that's awesome. And you know, to me that if nothing else that says that ghosts are human.
